Hard work brings good rewards.

I have to say I am proud of my kids.

Every parent think their kids are pretty good, and I am no different, but it is good to find some proof every now and then.
I am not normally one to brag, but I just can't help it.

My youngest lady (8) has just finished Hockey for the season, and while they didn't win they had a great time and learned so much and improved heaps from the start of the year.

My oldest young lady (13) is very soon off to the first netball final today, and if they win this one they get next week off, while the rest decide who plays them. If they lose toady they get to fight out for the grand final so...
They also have improved out of sight, and I was surprised to see how well my daughter plays - I have missed most of the season because our kids sports clashes.

My youngest lad (15) has not long finished the Rugby Union season. They didn't make the finals but it is a brand new club. At the presentation night he was given an award as the season's best forward for the team - they call him the "tank" because he never stops pushing. Wears the number 3.

My oldest son has just finished his "senior math" course, the first in Western Australia to do so (as far as we can tell) and finished with a 99% score on his last test. Only about another two weeks and he finishes off the last Chemistry bits and ends his schooling - ready for uni next year.
He hasn't done a sport lately because he works part time and can't fit it in.

My kids have all done well in what they do, and I am proud of them.
They have certain talents, and we are so thankful to the Lord for their talents and skills, but they also work hard at it, and this is a wonderful thing for us to see.

They take what the Lord has given them and work hard to honour Him with those talents.

I couldn't be more proud of my kids.

Skelli.
