Watched the Wallabies game last night, with all the normal expectation of watching a Wallabies-All Blacks game.
Hoped it would at least be better than the Recent Eden Park game, but didn't expect them to win. After all, it is not a World Cup game so the All Blacks have a better than even chance of winning.
But the Aussies came out and fired the heavy artillery from the first shot, and the All Blacks were just shell shocked for the entire first half.
The half time break gave them the opportunity to regroup, and they came back hard, but it just wasn't enough.
A decent showing by the Wallabies would have been a confidence boost.
This was a real triumph - the All Blacks will have it in their minds now.
Was going to write something about the difference between a game and the way the Lord worked with Gideon, but my wife just called me to cook the eggs for breakky, and then we have to go, so no time to think of a great way to word it....
